Ollie arrived on June 7, 2006, at the age of four years. His former family found it necessary to relinquish him. Their circumstances had changed, and they could no longer offer Ollie the life he deserved. Ollie was returned to his breeder, where he was evaluated, vetted, and declared healthy, happy, and ready for a new home… our home.
Ollie had a gift. He intuitively knew the needs of others and how to help them. He was gentle and tolerant with small children. He was patient and calm with dog-phobic humans. He was non-confrontational and ignored aggressive dogs. He was friendly and encouraging to fearful dogs. Ollie became whatever was needed by the individual he met.
Ollie was a pleasure in every way and every day. He was inherently well-mannered and the sweetest soul. Affectionate, gentle and playful, he viewed all strangers as friends he had yet to meet. He was the perfect dog. He was the perfect friend.
